Pulse Rx LTC Pharmacy, a leader in Pharmacy Services for Long Term Care and Retirement Homes in Ontario, is seeking Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians for its Woodbridge location.

Within the Homes, this focus on people is conveyed through our exceptional consultative services and personalized resident care. Our ongoing objective is to build and maintain relationships amongst our team members and the Homes to which we provide our pharmacy services.

FT Business Development Representative (Ottawa Region):
Develops and maintains strong professional relationships with key account clients to enhance the provision of pharmacy to maximize client retention. Business Development Representative is accountable for sourcing, developing, and maintaining contacts with prospective clients with the focus of generating new business. Responsibilities include researching and evaluating potential leads, and developing plans to ensure business growth within the territory.

Required Qualifications:
  • Develop a solid Business Plan focused on acquiring new accounts, and retention of current accounts.
  • Identifying prospective clients, communicating and coordinating client visits, and closing projects with clients.
  • Utilizing available Client databases (and other creative networking sources), target Key Contacts (Administrators and Directors of Care) within potential homes.
  • Meet and communicate regularly with clients (Administrators and Directors of Care in Nursing and Retirement Homes), and coordinate client meetings.
  • Maintain and build our business presence in the specific territory (OTTAWA)
  • Coordinating and participating in services to meet the objectives of the clients.
  • Supporting the clients, and acting as a liaison between the clients and Pulse Rx Operations.

Pharmacy Technicians:
Full-time and Part-time positions are available for pharmacy technicians to work within the Woodbridge location.

Required Qualifications:
  • Pharmacy Technician diploma from an Ontario Community College; and/or
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists;
  • Minimum of 1-2 years work experience within a pharmacy;
  • Strong data entry skills;
  • Proven ability to multi-task; and
  • Long Term Care and Kroll pharmacy software experience is a preferred asset.
